Bit of an old story but this goes to show the story once again about the importance of reading contracts, while I’m sure some of you may have been a bit surprised at my earlier posts about alt models not rolling around in massive amounts of money. The solution might be to sell out and simply make pop music? If you can’t be bothered to read the article, an ex-Australian Idol winner ends up selling his car due to not receiving any money from his record sales.
Ever wonder why so called idols fade away so quickly (and Popstars to that extent), this is why. If they do turn their back, they can just as quickly do another series and find a new one.
Moral of the story, always, always, always read contracts carefully.
